    Nissan Quest Overview

The Quest minivan from Nissan was produced during the 1993 to 2017 model years and over four generations. Interestingly, the first two generations, the V40 and V41, were co-developed by Ford. Furthermore, these two shorter wheelbase Quests shared design features with the Villager from Mercury.

The joint Quest venture ended in 2004 with Nissan’s third generation of the minivan, the V42. In 2011, Nissan introduced its fourth gen Quest, the RE52, which was based on the Nissan Elgrand sold in Japan but came with a wider wheelbase. The chassis and powertrain shared many similar aspects to the Nissan Maxima.

Nissan decided to halt sales of the Quest in North America due to decreasing minivan sales. Furthermore, the Quest had poor safety performance, namely in front crash tests. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) once described the Quest as one of the worst crash safety tests they had ever conducted.

Even though Quests no longer are produced, there are plenty still driving on the roads today. At SUYC, we regularly make offers and buy Quests from owners looking to make quick cash and get their family into a safer vehicle.

If you have a Nissan Quest junker that you want to unload, we’re happy to make you a fair market price offer. We buy Quests in all types of conditions. So whether yours runs perfect, has been crashed, is missing parts, or doesn’t turnover, we’re happy to take it off of your hands.

3 Reasons to Sell Your Nissan Quest to SUYC

    1. SUYC is able to make a higher cash offer than our competition because we are typically able to make more on your vehicle purchase than they are. But find out for yourself by calling around town and getting multiple quotes.
    2. We are often able to finalize your vehicle purchase within 48 hours of you contacting our team. Sometimes, if a customer calls early enough in the day, we can make a same-day pickup and payment.
    3. We’ll also take care of the towing away of your vehicle free of charge. While some of our competitors choose to pass the tow fee on to their customers, we do not.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Below we’ve shared a few of the questions we get asked the most. If you don’t see your question answered, please reach out and ask us directly.

How Are You Able to Pay More Than Your Competitors for My Quest?

The short answer is that most of our competitors are not recycling facilities, whereas Sell Us Your Car is. The truth is that most companies who ‘buy’ junk cars are not actually buying them but instead are simply lead generation companies who end up selling the leads to companies like ours.

So one way we are able to offer more is by cutting out the middleman. When we buy directly from consumers, more money goes into your pocket. This is also to say, when a company that sells leads makes a bid on a car, they have to lowball the seller in order to leave some meat on the bone.

The other reason that SUYC is able to pay more for junk cars is because we not only recycle cars, but we refurbish and resell their parts. This means we’re able to make more money on a vehicle we’ve purchased, as opposed to a company that just resells parts or one that just does metal recycling.

How Quickly Can You Buy My Quest?

More often than not, if you call first thing in the morning, we’ll have a tow truck out to your location before the end-of-day. However, we run a busy operation and can’t always make a same-day purchase. For those who call later in the day and during our busiest days, we more often than not can schedule your pickup within 48 hours.

Will You Buy My Quest Without the Title?

The only way we can buy a car from anyone is with proof of ownership. A title is a great way to show that you own your vehicle and that there isn’t a lien on it. However, with a bill of sale and government issued identification, we can make a junk car purchase.
