Alright, let’s talk about this big van called the Nissan NV. This bad boy was made by Nissan from 2011 all the way to 2021, especially for us in the U.S. and our neighbors up in Canada. Before this, only Mexico got to enjoy a full-size Nissan van. The NV got its inspiration from the Nissan Titan truck, but with some cool changes to make it more van-like.

The NV had a few different models, but the main thing was the engine. They had a V6 engine, which is kinda like the little brother, and a V8, the big bro with more power. The V8 was so beefy it could go up to 100 mph!

Now, let’s break down the three main models:

The NV1500, which people casually call the ‘half-ton’, could carry a load of about 2,590 lb.

The NV2500 or the ‘three-quarter-ton’ could haul a bit more, around 3,142 lb. This one let you choose between the V6 or the more powerful V8 engine.

Then there was the boss, the NV3500. This ‘one-ton’ van was all about the V8 engine and could carry a whopping 3,925 lb. They even had a version where you could fit 12 people in it, perfect for big families or road trips with the squad!

But, all good things come to an end. Nissan stopped making the NV in 2021 and switched things up with a new program. Still, the NV had a good run.
