Nissan Altima Overview

The Altima is a Japanese midsize car that, prior to 1992, was originally known as the Bluebird. This model falls between the smaller Sentra and the slightly larger Maxima models from Nissan.

The first four Altima generations were exclusively made for the U.S. market, while the same car was sold outside of Australia, the Middle East, and the Americas as the Nissan Teana.
