Nissan 350Z Overview
The 350Z, also known as the Fairlady Z in Japan, is a two-door sports car from Nissan that brought the Z-Car back to the U.S. market in 2002. Car enthusiasts were able to buy the 350Z up until 2009 when it was replaced with the 370Z.
When the 350Z first debuted it was only available as a coupe; however, Nissan rolled out a roadster later in the production year. If you opted for the coupe, you could purchase it in five different trims – Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring, and Track. Whereas the Roadster offered just the Enthusiast and Touring visions.
The Z got off to a bumpy start when a 240Z concept was first designed by Nissan’s North American design team and was met with lackluster fanfare in 1998. The original 240Z designer, Yoshihiko Matsuo, compared the initial concept sketches to the Bluebird and Leopard Nissans being sold in Japan – two vehicles the Altima would later be designed after.
With a 3.5-liter engine, six cylinders, and 301 horsepower to boot, the 350Z was a fun and sporty option that everyday car buyers could afford.
You still see a good amount of 350s on the roads today, but they’re slowly disappearing as many owners have upgraded to the 370. Furthermore, the newest Z-Car, simply called the Z, is also available, meaning the 350Z will be less and less commonly seen driving around.
Sell Us Your Car has bought many 350Zs over the years, helping put cash into the hands of former owners. We’ve bought 350Zs that are in need of both major and minor repairs, that have been involved in accidents, and that were projects that never got finished.
We don’t just buy junk Nissan 350Z cars, we also buy ones that are in perfect, or near-perfect, working order.
3 Reasons to Sell Your Nissan 350Z to SUYC
- We make more money on average from our car purchases, so we’re able to pay more to acquire them. Don’t take our word for it, though. Call around and get multiple offers before accepting ours.
- We usually can buy a car the same day you agree to our offer. When we cannot, we typically get the transaction done within 48 hours, which means fast cash when you need it the most.
- Finally, we never charge to tow away a vehicle. Some of our competitors try to make a bit extra on their car purchases by passing on a fee for towing. Our towing service is complimentary.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below we’ve shared a few of the questions we get asked the most. If you don’t see your question answered, please reach out and ask us directly.
How Are You Able to Pay More Than Your Competitors for My 350Z?
The short answer is that most of our competitors are not recycling facilities, whereas Sell Us Your Car is. The truth is that most companies who ‘buy’ junk cars are not actually buying them but instead are simply lead generation companies who end up selling the leads to companies like ours.
So one way we are able to offer more is by cutting out the middleman. When we buy directly from consumers, more money goes into your pocket. This is also to say, when a company that sells leads makes a bid on a car, they have to lowball the seller in order to leave some meat on the bone.
The other reason that SUYC is able to pay more for junk cars is because we not only recycle cars, but we refurbish and resell their parts. This means we’re able to make more money on a vehicle we’ve purchased, as opposed to a company that just resells parts or one that just does metal recycling.
How Quickly Can You Buy My 350Z?
More often than not, if you call first thing in the morning, we’ll have a tow truck out to your location before the end-of-day. However, we run a busy operation and can’t always make a same-day purchase. For those who call later in the day and during our busiest days, we more often than not can schedule your pickup within 48 hours.
Will You Buy My 350Z Without the Title?
The only way we can buy a car from anyone is with proof of ownership. A title is a great way to show that you own your vehicle and that there isn’t a lien on it. However, with a bill of sale and government issued identification, we can make a junk car purchase.
